New British Record Blue Shark on Bite Adventures!

On the 14th July 2017 a monster Blue Shark took one of our baits. It was John Dines turn on the rod and he played the huge Blue Shark to the boat. It was a massive fish with a length of 106" and a girth of 44"! This gave a calculated weight of 256lb - a new British Rod Caught Record! A big well done to John Dines for catching this magnificent fish. The fish was caught using a Fin-Nor Variado 20-30lb Rod and Fin-Nor Marquesa Reel. The fish was handled with utmost respect and after quickly measuring and a few photos the fish was released and swam off strongly. A very special fish!
