On the 14th July 2017 a monster Blue Shark took one of our baits. It was John Dines turn on the rod and he played the huge Blue Shark to the boat. It was a massive fish with a length of 106" and a girth of 44"! This gave a calculated weight of 256lb - a new British Rod Caught Record! With the warming sea temperatures, May see's Bite Adventures head offshore to have a first look on the sharks. The first trip this year didn't disappoint and they were waiting for us, including a big girl of 167lb! We are now at the start of July and have caught over 250 sharks on trips so far this year with plenty more to come. Take a look at this blog post for some photos of the action!
