Cracking Couch's Bream Fishing

We are lucky enough to have Couch's Bream in the waters of West Cornwall. These beautiful fish are quite rare in the UK but we have a number of marks which produce specimen sized fish over 5lb. Several specimen fish have been caught on Bite Adventures this season. Take a look at this blog post to check them out....

A cracking Couch's Bream of 6lb 8oz was caught by Jim Grant of Guildford City Sea Angling Club. The fish set a new club record for Jim. 

When Bob Pollard comes on the boat he always manages to jam out a special fish. Big sharks, rare Cuckoo Rays and various other specimens. This time he found a specimen Couch's of 5lb 10oz. Awesome fish Bob!

I even managed to find one too - 5lb 2oz, Happy Days. 

There is a British Record out there somewhere and who knows when it might turn up. It won't be long until we see these fish into double figures. Bring on the fun!
